The formula is moisturizing, but light, and non-oily - so it will not cause millia to those who are prone. Does not contain sunscreen.

TO USE: Packaged in our new airless jar (seen below) you simply press lightly on the top to dispense a pearl sized amount, and apply to the under eye area and eye lids. Can also be used on the delicate area between your lip and nose. 

Here is a little more information on the active ingredients we have included in this formula.

Matrixyl 3000 & Marine Peptides – Fragments of the collagen molecule, these peptides work over a period of time to stimulate collagen production in the deep layers of the skin. Increased collagen production helps to repair flaws like fine lines and wrinkles on the surface of the skin for a younger, smoother look. These peptides are found most often in high-end anti-wrinkle creams and serums. Because of their synergistic effect, when combined with other active ingredients, these peptides are especially effective in helping dark circles fade away and continued use helps keep them from coming back. Matrixyl 3000, and the original Matrixyl, both are based on peptides that stimulate the synthesis and replenishment of the skin matrix (the skin's structural framework). Marine peptides are very easily accepted by the body, and clients have been thrilled with the results they've seen from them. The combination of these 3 peptides are an absolute powerhouse for collagen stimulation!

Vitamin A - stimulates new cell turnover and is the main ingredient in Retin-A.  

Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate - A superior form of vitamin c and powerful antioxidant and free radical scavenger. Also helps lighten uneven skin tone and pigment.

Hesperidin - Hesperidin helps to reduce capillary permeability, meaning, it helps prevent the tiny blood vessels in the skin around your eyes from leaking. It’s this leakage which leads to the dark bruise-like discolorations we call dark circles. Hesperidin is also a wonderful anti-inflammatory, which helps to reduce puffiness and swelling.

Chrysin - Chrysin is, like Hesperidin, a plant-derived flavinoid. It’s an anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory, and makes an excellent addition to the other powerful ingredients in this eye treatment cream. Chrysin also has shown promise as a vasorelaxant, which can enhance the vasoprotective effects of hesperidin.

Caffeine - helps reduce wrinkles caused by aging and dry skin. The caffeine can also help tighten your skin to make it look younger and more refreshed, and is a diuretic and helps to “de-puff” and reduce swelling while increasing circulation to alleviate and brighten dark circles.

Pomegranate Seed Oil – Another excellent anti-oxidant, this ingredient is extremely useful to help  protect skin from UV exposure, free radicals and stress. 

Lycopene – Lycopene may be the best free radical scavenger among carotens, and it is at least twice as effective an antioxidant as beta carotene. The ability of lycopene to block UV light is an additional benefit for the skin.

Lutein – Lutein provides high-impact hydration and restores the skin's protective barrier. Golden-yellow lutein, extracted from marigold petals, filters out the potential skin-aging effects of blue rays emitted from artificial lighting. It is also effective in shielding skin from effects of low humidity, forced heat, and stale, re-circulated air.

Glutathione - This works by targeting unstable molecules called free-radicals, and oxidants which cause damage to the cells in our body. By eliminating these harsh elements, over-all health will be revitalized, the process of aging will slow down, and appearance of the skin will be more youthful and even “glowing.” L-glutathione also inhibits and blocks Tyrosinase, the enzyme responsible for the production of dark melanin pigments. Continuous and consistent supplementation will result into gradual skin lightening, and lighter, brighter looking eyes. If you are someone who has pigment-related darkening around the eyes this would definitely be of benefit to you.

EGF -  Epidermal Growth Factor supports tissue regeneration and cellular repair. This ingredient will assist in strengthening and contouring the eye area for increased firmness while reducing the appearance of dark circles and puffiness. 

Tocotrienol (superior form of Vitamin E) - Because of its antioxidant activity, vitamin e also is an important active which helps protect skin cells from ultra violet light, pollution, drugs, and other elements that produce cell damaging free radicals. It also helps skin look younger by reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Free radicals cause damage to our body’s cells, which leads to premature ageing and skin wrinkling, and even worse problems, like skin cancer. They definitely play an important role in skin aging and therefore the antioxidants we’ve added to this product are quite valuable to prevent this skin problem. The benefits of vitamin e for healthy skin care also include its ability to regulate vitamin a in the body, which itself is important for healthy skin.

Alpha Lipoic Acid – Another free radical scavenger! Applied topically to the skin, it has amazing antioxidant properties. It fights oxidative stress and reduces free radicals and their damage. Alpha lipoic acid can also help boost the level of intracellular glutathione, which is another antioxidant that is very important to the immune system. Undeniably, a very powerful antioxidant that helps to increase the cell's metabolism and also inactivates hydroxyl and peroxyl radicals, singlet oxygen, hypochlorous acid, and nitric oxide, while at the same time acting as a catalyst and chelator.
